Polymer regrind

We supply all plastic material in regrind form, if required materials can be supplied tested and backed with a certificate of analysis.

PET Products

We trade & market several PET products like - PET Flakes, PET Chips, PET Sheet, PET Strapping, PET Monofilament and PET Fibre.

»Pet Flakes:

Recycled PET flakes can be used for manufacturing a wide range of products. Depending on the purity the flakes can be reused for different types of application i.e. food packaging products, industrial & other packaging uses.

»PET Monofilament:

PET Monofilament is used in very high strength fabric for filtration application, tarpaulin, roofings etc. Monofilament for zippers is one of the medium value product.

»PET Sheet:

Polyester films & sheet have very high strength clarity and keeping strength or self life. They also have excellent barrier property and inertness to use them in food applications.

»PET Strappings:

PET strap is recognized as a new environment protective strapping material to substitute steel strap & PP Strap. PET strap are widely used in steel industry, chemical fiber industrial, paper plants, glass industrial, tobacco, electronics etc.

»PET Fibre:

It is used in textile industry to manufacture products like carpets, tents, luggage & also in filler in the mattress & pillows.

Bales plastic waste/scrap

We have access to a wide variety of packaging scrap from recycling facilities and retail outlets. All scrap is bales to maximise the weight shipped and thus reduce onward tarnsportation costs.

Injection Moulding Grade Products

Talc filled PP

Talc filled polypropylene compound with medium to high flow, formulated for ease of moulding and an excellent balance between stiffness and impact performance.

Current options for Material Properties:

Melt Flow Index 3 - 26 grms/600secs
Izod Impact Strength 2 - 6 kJ/m2

This compound can also be produced with the addition of a UV as a heat stabiliser for use in exterior applications or where heat is an issue.

LDPE

Low Density Polyethylene formulated for toughness and process ease in injection moulding applications. The material also has good stress crack and chemical resistance.

Current options for Material Properties:

Melt Flow Index 5 - 50 grms/600secs

MDPE

Rotograde Medium Density Polyethylene which is also suitable for injection moulding. The MFI is suitable for thin-wall and moderately intricate parts so is highly processable. Resilience, resistance to UV and strength are all good.

Melt Flow Index 2.5-8.5 grms/600secs

HDPE

High Density Polyethylene formulated for ease of processing, suitable for bottle caps, produce trays and long flow length applications where flexibility is required.

Izod Impact Strength 5 - 10 kJ/m2

HIPS

High Impact Polystyrene formulated for a consistent combination of impact strength and rigidity. The material also gives a consistent and attractive surface finish making it suitable for visible durable consumer parts. It is also particularly suitable for sheet production destined for vacuum forming with its combination of rigidity, impact and fast processing.

Izod Impact Strength 55 - 79 kJ/m2

GPPS

General-purpose polystyrene (GP polystyrene or crystal polystyrene, CPS) formulated for a range of extrusion applications where it gives good strength, rigidity and heat distortion characteristics. It is also suitable for injection moulding applications either alone or blended with High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS).

Izod Impact Strength 15 - 25 kJ/m2

ABS

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene is a high impact compound formulated for a consistent combination of impact strength and rigidity allied to ease of processing by injection moulding techniques.

Izod Impact Strength 70-110 kJ/m2

PPC

PolyPropylene Copolymer formulated for a high degree of toughness and strength allied to ease of processing by injection moulding. The impact properties are well preserved at low temperatures making the material suitable for use in applications involving freezer temperatures. The material can also be produced with a high MFI for fast-cycling injection moulding of thin-wall applications.

Izod Impact Strength 4.5 -20 kJ/m2

PPH

PolyPropylene Homopolymer with comparatively high toughness allied to stiffness and rigidity. There is also a talc loaded variant for increased stiffness. It has excellent gloss and is suitable for relatively thin-wall applications as well as thicker items.

PC (LEXAN) + PC / ABS

Recycled Injection grade Polycarbonate and Polycarbonate / ABS blends with a variety of property profiles.

Extrusion Grade Products

LLDPE

Linear Low Density PolyEthylene suitable for a wide range of film and sheet extrusion applications.

LDPE

Low Density PolyEthylene formulated for toughness and strength in sheet and other extension applications. This material also has good crack and chemical resistance.

MDPE

Medium Density PolyEthylene formulated for use in extruded tube and profile applications. It has excellent strength and resilience. It is also highly processable and suitable for welded applications. Resistance to both UV and stress cracking is good.

Izod Impact Strength 7 - 12 kJ/m2

HDPE

High Density PolyEthylene formulated from post-consumer bottles or from industrial extruded pipe or sheet grade products, or a mixture of the two depending on the percentage of post-consumer waste required by the customer. Some post-consumer waste bottles are selected with no pigment and are therefore suitable for a wide range of over-colouring (only bright whites and yellows are difficult).

GPPS

HDPE

Recycled high molecular, High Density PolyEthylene particularly suitable for blow moulding applications (up to 350 litres) having excellent parison stability performance. This can be produced with a percentage of post-consumer feedstock dependent on customer requirements.
